Located just around the corner from the LA Zoo, Shane’s Inspiration has lots to offer. Aside from ample grass, picnic tables, and parking, the various play environments include a unique, fun grouping of basketball hoops (bring own ball; pic below), kid-size zip line, castle and rocket ship play structures, and plenty more.

Be advised, weekends are very crowded. Come during the week for optimal enjoyment.

While in the area, consider checking out the Old Los Angeles Zoo, current Los Angeles Zoo, Autry Museum, Amir’s Garden, and Travel Town.
