Seal Beach

Seal Beach

Address: 1001 East Seal Way, Seal Beach, CA

Most Angeleno’s have never made the 30-minute drive south to this quaint coastal community. Boy, are they missing out! What a lovely, laid back beach town. Its Main Street is super charming – comparable to LA’s Larchmont, but much more antiquated in the most endearing way.

The address above guides you directly to one of the best beach-front parking lots in all of Southern California. You almost literally park on the sand itself. Cost is $2.00 per hour, payable via the Passport parking app. From here you can either walk to the shoreline, bum around on the adjoining pier, play on the on-site playground, or head over to Main Street for a bite & small business shopping.

While in the area, consider checking out the Naples Canals (129 Ravenna Drive) – similar concept to the Venice Beach Canals but more active with paddleboarders and boats. Also nearby – the Walter Pyramid – an enormous blue pyramid (ala Luxor Hotel in Vegas) located on the Long Beach State campus (6122 East Atherton Street).
