Will Rogers State Historic Park

Pacific Palisades

Address: 1501 Will Rogers State Park, Pacific Palisades

A gorgeous, pastoral ranch in Pacific Palisades open to the public 7 days a week for hiking, horseback riding, picnics, polo matches, photoshoots, and more.

Will Rogers State Park is the former residence of beloved screen legend Will Rogers and family. In 1944, Betty Rogers (Will’s widow) deeded the 186-acre property to the State of California to be enjoyed as a public park.

Today, there’s plenty to do here. You can tour the Western Ranch House (re-opening July 22), walk around the old barn and stables, hike the scenic 2 mile Inspiration Loop Trail (incredible citywide views), picnic on the former golf course, catch a Polo match (view schedule), take a horseback riding lesson (310-904-9846), book a trail ride, or enjoy any number of other outdoor activities.

For additional Will Rogers State Park info, please visit www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=626.
