Address: 17985 Pacific Coast Hwy, Pacific Palisades, CA
One of the most beautiful museums in California, modeled after the Villa dei Papiri in Herculaneum (Italy), at the easterly end of the Malibu coast in Pacific Palisades.
This elegant, world-class property features gorgeous fountains, lush gardens, great galleries, and incredible antiquities dating as far back as 6500 B.C. Every corner of the property’s grounds is a feast for the eyes; wandering through peristyle walkways, gracious atriums, an outdoor amphitheater, and amazing murals, statues, etc – collectively breathtaking.
Make sure to explore all the villa’s areas – upstairs, downstairs, and all around. Take your time and soak it in.
Admission is free (reservation required) and parking is $20.
