Address: 800 E 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA
A vibrant, poppin’ part of Downtown LA – where sausages, sushi, and juice all coexist and thrive amidst the colorful collections of art.
The district’s heartbeat is at the intersection of 3rd & Traction, where Le Labo and Wurstküche each occupy a corner. Next door is the fashionable & famous Phillip Lim, Kreation Organic Juicery, Salt & Straw, Hauser & Wirth, and others. Even ultra-hip Urth Caffe, Blue Bottle Coffee, and Café Gratitude have arrived in the neighborhood.
You just got to park your car, walk around and explore all the unique retailers, eateries, and art.
Overall, the area’s “industrial” / “creative space” / “refurbished” vibe works here and is super fun to scope out and spend time in.
While in the area, consider checking out Little Tokyo, the ROW DTLA, Smorgasburg LA (still Covid-closed as of 4/18/2021), Chinatown, Union Station, Grand Central Market, and so much more – including these 24 sites listed by California Through My Lens.
