Panoramic, Valley-views atop this manageable, “two-bench” Burbank hike.

The first bench – the lower bench – overlooks the Stough Canyon Nature Center, adjoining hillsides, and small corner of DeBell Golf Club. Bench #2 – the upper bench – is the showstopper. Situated on a helipad-like plateau, “The View” offers an extraordinary range of visibility, spanning the entire San Fernando Valley and beyond.

A sensible summit-time is about 20 to 30 minutes. The trail’s smooth and subtle incline makes this spot feasible for all skill levels, including bikers & kids.

Aim for the address above and park in the Nature Center’s parking lot. To get to the first bench, just follow the path up and you’ll see it on your way. To get to the second bench, take the small incline-path up behind the first bench. You’ll see a sign and second incline to the left. Take that hill up to be blessed with your breathtaking reward.

All in all, a wonderful walk with extremely impressive, postcard views; A+.
