Address: 2600 Franklin Canyon Dr, Beverly Hills, CA
One of the most extraordinary nature parks in all of LA – just 10 minutes up the street from The Beverly Hills Hotel. A super peaceful lake lies in its center, surrounded by an impressive collection of foresty trees, hiking trails, and wildlife. Many people love to come look for turtles, birds, and fish in the duck pond and/or walk the shaded shoreline along the lake’s perimeter. Others enjoy hiking the popular Hastain Trail, located in the lower region of the park called Franklin Canyon Ranch.
To get to the Ranch, turn right after crossing the Lake’s dam, then left down where the road forks by the abandoned white house – continue downhill until reaching the Ranch sign (bottom left photo).

Please be advised – make sure to properly stop at all the park’s stop signs, otherwise their cameras may send you a $100 ticket. Whether or not you have to pay the fine is up for debate. NBC News did a report on this issue in 2017 – watch here.
