Address: 29033 Lake Vista Dr, Agoura Hills, CA
A lovely, pastoral lake up in the Malibu mountains – flush with antiquated charm & tranquility.
Across from the address above, a waterfront walkway welcomes visitors to soak in the serene surroundings – including a small island, adjoining picnic-park, and Malibou Lake Lodge.
There are no stores around, but this hidden community will most certainly feed your soul, for free.
You can’t drive around the entire lake, but you can explore a quarter of it. Just follow along the two bridge’s until reaching the Seminole Drive triangle, then turn back.
As a whole, this is a highly recommended Los Angeles destination, and spiritually replenishing.
While in the area, consider checking out Malibu State Park, Malibu Hindu Temple, and/or Paramount Ranch.
I believe you can only drive and not use the lake as it is a private community. Please correct me if I’m wrong
You can drive a quarter way around the lake, as well as walk along the lake-side boardwalk and enjoy the park – both across from The Lodge. But yes, boating on the lake is restricted to residents only; similar to Westlake Village Lake.
